A few days ago, my friend and I were in the historic Eaglemont village when we spotted the most beautiful window dressing and entered a gorgeous French savonnerie, ‘Castille De Fleur’. Walking into the store I felt as if I was 'transported' to a boutique tucked away in the lane ways of a delightful village in southern France....
As soon as we entered, our senses were heightened by the most heavenly botanical aromas. The owner of Castille De Fleur, Nicole Langdon, an extremely talented lady inspired by her French heritage, has carried on with tradition creating exquisite botanical soaps and natural bath, body and home aromatic products. I remember telling Nicole that "The store smells so delicious that I want to EAT the aromas", while Nicole laughed and said that she's heard that one before!!!
Nicole is a passionate castille soap maker and has spent years blending recipes and perfecting the art! The vast range of botanical soaps and skin care products are handmade at the savonnerie in Melbourne using only traditional recipes and natural ingredients. Following are some photos of Castille De Fleur taken by Nicole herself and some from her website. Her store and products have also been featured in the French Provincial Magazine!
It’s the perfect gift for someone you love! And with Mother’s Day round the corner, it’s definitely worth a visit!
