I have been hard at work making pieces for "What's In The Box" and today was nothing new! However I decided to take a break and give a chopping board a makeover today! I often use wooden ones to display or serve cheese after dinner platters or for guests that drop by for conversation and wine. But this one's special!
A plain ol' boring wooden chopping board turned into a cute little cheese display board!!!
I sealed the board after painting and distressing so that it can actually be used!
So there you have it.... one hand painted cheeseboard!
I love it....do you?
Thanks so much for stopping by! Till later!!!

I love your cheese board! How did you do it? With printable decals or paint pens?

Hi Charlotte...I used traditional methods of painting the flowers and the letters free hand with a thin paint brush and black acrylic paint and then 2 layers of sealant to seal it all together. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun idea and I'm sure it would be a big hit at a wine and cheese party!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and so easy peasy! Thanks for linking it up too!

Very pretty...now I want some cheese...I already have the wine. :)
ReplyDeleteLove it - love cheese too (too much)!! The two together are perfection! - oh forgot about the wine - that would be true perfection!
